The Player
Alex Scala. 18. College student. I am a lot of things, but the one thing I've always been and always will be is a writer. I started roleplaying when I was five or six -- Dungeons and Dragons, with my parents and cousin. I move to internet roleplaying when I was about eleven, starting with the Neopets boards, then private by email and message boards. I started journal-based roleplaying on LiveJournal about five years ago, and group chat IRC-based roleplaying about three years ago.
The Games
At this point I prefer journal threads, because I'm never sure how often or how long I'll be on. However, I also roleplay by email, Gchat, AIM and IRC. I will do fandom or original, and originals inside fandom; slash, het, femmeslash, and gen of all kinds. I enjoy pre-canon, post-canon, missing scene, alternate universe, just about anything. I prefer some idea of a plot or conflict, but I've been known to randomly throw two characters together just to see how they interact, so it's not necessary; and I'm open both to long-term and one-off. I usually roleplay third person, but I'm open to first; past or present; and I prefer prose style, but am willing to do asterisk style provided it's not too serious a thread. I'm not picky about length, either. The one thing I am picky about is quality. As long as the quality is there, I'm open to just about anything.

While I've attempted to make this complete, there's always the possibility I forgot someone. If you know me, and you know I've talked about a character or fandom not on the list, feel free to ask. You can ask about non-listed characters in the listed fandoms even if you don't know me. I can't promise the answer will always be yes, but I can promise an answer.

Reply to this post with a prompt of some sort (a word, a phrase, a person, anything). This character will then reply with what they think of that prompt. The character will reply entirely IC, except that they won't be allowed to filter any of their thoughts. Muns decide when to shut characters up, so expect rambling and "I shouldn't have said that". Multiple prompts and RPing off of those prompts are also encouraged.
Like any other meme posted to this journal, open eternally and to any pup listed (or not listed, if I haven't updated in a while/you know someone not on there.)
